Two powerful assays for the rapid diagnosis of invasive fungal infections, aiding in the selection of appropriate treatment options

MycoGENIE Aspergillus spp. – Mucorales spp. is a unique real-time PCR designed to rapidly distinguish between Aspergillus and Mucorales species from a single DNA extract.

MycoGENIE Aspergillus fumigatus Real-Time PCR specifically detects A. fumigatus in its azole-sensitive and azole-resistant forms.

Both assays have been validated using the same sample material and therefore allow for a comprehensive analysis from a single DNA extract.

DermaScreen is a real-time PCR test for the reliable initial diagnosis of dermatophytes in skin, hair, and nail samples. In routine practice, most samples are either negative or show positive results for T. rubrum or T. interdigitale/T. mentagrophytes. Only five percent of samples require further differentiation.

With DermaScreen, 95% of samples can already be differentiated.  For rare or atypical dermatophytes, the DermaTyping real-time PCR test can be used as a supplement.
