EurobioPlex DermaTyping Real-Time PCR Test
High-performance differentiation of rare, clinically relevant dermatophytes only when needed, as a supplement to the EurobioPlex DermaScreen EBX-073.
This test is the first commercial assay to provide specific detection of Trichophyton indotineae, which exhibits increased terbinafine resistance. This enables tailored treatment.
The following can be detected:
- T. tonsurans
- T. benhamiae
- T. indotineae
- T. violaceum
- T. verrucosum
- E. floccosum
- M. audouinii
- M. canis
- N. gypsea
Conventional real-time PCR (approx. 65 minutes) with evaluation based on Ct values, no melting curve analysis!
Test panels are compatible with Proficiency Test 492 (INSTAND e.V.) and RfB.
Validated cyclers: CFX96™/Opus (Bio-Rad), QuantStudio™ 5/7 (Thermo Fisher Scientific), LightCycler® 480 II (Roche), MIC (BMS)
