Real-time PCR for the detection of clinically relevant dermatophytes and yeasts. The PCR screening test offers a cost-effective way to distinguish between negative and positive samples, as well as the specific detection of the two most common dermatophytes.
Conventional real-time PCR (approx. 65 minutes) with evaluation based on Ct values; no melting curve analysis!
We offer the EuroBioPlex DermaTyping Kit for the detection of rare, clinically relevant dermatophytes, including T. indotineae.
Test panels are compatible with Proficiency Test 492 (INSTAND e.V.) and RfB.
