Cross reaction	Chondroitin sulfate, dermatan sulphate and keratan sulfate alone, either in their native or degraded state, show no reactivity.

Intended use	CS-846, a chondroitin sulfate epitope, which is normally only present on intact aggrecan “fetal-like” proteoglycan, is used as a biomarker in the investigation of the cartilage synthesis/turnover in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and cartilage injury and repair in human as well as some animal models.
